SPORT FISHING
At Palamós Boats we organize different sport fishing trips suitable for everyone, starting with the smallest, or people who want to start up to experienced fishermen. Our skipper is a specialist in children’s fishing trips, spinning, jigging, coastal trolling and squid fishing. Get to know the best corners of the Costa Brava to practice each type of fishing. During the outing he will help and advise you while preparing the material and will be at your disposal throughout the outing.
CHILDREN OUTINGS
They are excursions designed for the smallest of the family of 3 hours and near the coast of Palamós. In this type of outing we always guarantee catches. It is an experience that the little ones will surely remember. It is a simple fishing and suitable for everyone, ideal to start.
COASTAL TROLLING
The ideal months to practice this type of fishing are September and October. The difficulty is medium-high but the reward is usually generous bonitos, dolphinfish, skewers, melvas, obladas.
SQUID FISHING
We start practicing this type of fishing in mid-July when it starts to get dark, or before the sun rises, relatively close to the coastline. We found the squid at a depth of between 20 and 40 meters. It is a unique experience and very popular among the little ones!
SPINNING and JIGGING
In spinning we use an artificial bait that we throw into the water and with the movement of the rod we try to imitate the movement of a small fish that attracts other fish. With jigging we also use artificial bait and weights, we let the bait fall freely to the seabed, and little by little we recover the line rhythmically, imitating the flight of a fish rising to the surface. This type of fishing can be practiced all year round and depending on the season we fish bonito, frigate tuna, dentex, skewers, sea bream.

WITH WHAT VESSEL ARE THE DEPARTURES PERFORMED?
We use our Beneteau Flyer 6.6 Spacedeck boat, 6.6 meters long and with capacity for a maximum of 5 people plus the skipper. It is a new boat from 2017 with a 150hp outboard motor. It is an ideal boat for fishing due to the width of the fully open aft cockpit and bow, which allow great interior mobility. It has a table, fresh water shower, GPS equipment, and awning.
