Palamós is a municipality in the Baix Empordà region, located in the province of Girona. It is famous for its beaches, commercial port and shrimp. It is one of the favourite destinations for scuba diving enthusiasts thanks to its fantastic wreck, Boreas. This ship was a tugboat and icebreaker for the German navy during the Second World War.
